On September 17th a meeting was called to consider measures necessary to be taken to prevent the possible introduction of cholera into the State of Florida, at which time rules and regulations were formulated and adopted for inter-state Quarantine to be Operative whenever in the Opinion of the State Health Officer they should be deemed necessary.
