George Mueller was one of the nineteenth century's greatest Christian carers for the poor and the orphaned, he is credited with having established 117 schools for over 120, 000 children. A. J. Pierson was the first to write a biography of Mueller, in which he faithfully records his rebellious youth, his turn to Christ, his work with the orphans, and later in his life, his evangelistic travels that took him across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia.
