Two large windows are open on the garden beneath, through one of them can be seen, rising against the placid fields of the sky, the little hill of San Miniato, and its bright Basilica, and the convent, and the church of the Cronaca, "la Bella Villanella, " the purest vessel of Franciscan simplicity.
