Hellboy has been sent to a small Georgia town beset by strange occurrences to keep an eye on a young girl hiding from the curse of her family. Hellboy soon becomes entangled in the blood debt of an evil mystical preacher and goes up against ghosts, demon trees, talking bullfrogs, and a race of lost mutant children.
