Highlighted by the challenges encountered in one man's fugitive life underground, this was an era characterized by the confusions of facing a future where relationships unpredictably ebb and flow, and political changes and shifts become the norm. This first book focuses on the people and conflict involved the so-called Pot War of '84, and its effects on rural western Oregon.
