Sundarbans, the largest mangroves in the universe is having limitations in agriculture and entire population has to struggle not only against the mercy of the nature but also against vast communication gap existing between the available resources and its effective utilization through application of modern technology. There are many factors, which are very important to produce desirable impact of Extn. Edu. in adoption of improved A.H. practices as alternative agriculture in this area. The book has highlighted the impact of Extn. Education in adoption of six improved A.H. practices in Sundarbans with emphasis on different socio-economic, socio-psychological, communication and administrative characteristics effecting adoption behaviour of the livestock owners in the area.
