Impact of Job Characteristic Model on Employee Performance

The purpose of this study is to know the relationship between the employee performance and the job characteristics model. In addition to, how and to what extent does employee performance is fueled up by the provision of job characteristics. Task identity, skill variety, autonomy, feedback and task significance in assessed with comparison to individual work performance. Questionnaire designed by Hackman, Oldham (1996) and Koopmans et al (2013) is used.Job needs to be designed in a way that employees skills should be boosted, employees must know what they need to perform and whether they have to perform the whole task. Furthermore they must feel that their work made an impact in the organization.
