H o w e v e r, a little is knowing about what is in one's own ITR may influence how that person perceives others human romantic relationships hips. In fact, peers have been have been shown to be more accurate in predicting the potential outcomes of relationships than romantic partners themselves ( Loving, 2006). T h e r e f o r e it is important to understand factors affecting the perceptions of these 3rd parties to better understand their role influencing the outcome of relationships. T his quasi-experimental study investigated how an individual's I T influences their perceptions of others' relationships.
