This book is about my life. There's no going around it. You don't have to wait too long to hear what needs to be said. I don't want to keep the readers waiting on what I wanted to say. This book is not that long, it tells you about me and what I've been through. I don't know about you, but when I read I want to know what the books about and to get straight to the point, so I wrote this book with the intention for the readers to not be delayed and to not have to wait on the main course. I wanted the opposite. I don't want you to wait. Here, have your Desire. I shared what I battled with, who I am and what I've been through. Everything in this book is truthful. I want readers to connect with me but not go through many barriers just to connect with me. I titled it "in my mind" so that the readers can get to know how I think. I don't share my thoughts too often, so I took the time out to share my thoughts in this autobiography. I hope it fulfills the intentions I intended with this book and that it was to connect to the readers and to get straight to the point, while sharing my story and sharing poems that means so much to me. I've only written one book, a book of poems. I do plan on writing more books. Growing up I never saw myself as an author or even a writer. I just went about my days playing outside, I love the outdoors. Nature is a space of peace and adventure to me, so you see, picking up a pen to write my feelings and to even publish a book, was not in my plans. The older I got I started to express myself more through writing, I found that I best express myself through writing, sometimes even better than communicating verbally. What I would write on a paper, would flow for me easier than when I vocalize. I not only write poems, but I also do write music. So, writing has become a big part of my life in some form or another.
