And since Hudson is concerned in his art with Observed facts of nature, as well as with its romance, it is only natural that he Should present his facts with such a romantic vestiture. You feel these facts in the knowing form of the plunging sloop, bow on, with its dory on deck and the white seine-boat tossing high up on the crest of a sea astern.
