Fuel is the major requirment of life. with the increase in population the demand for the fuel has reached the sky and prices has crosses the affordable limits and these fuels are non renavable. so there is a need to develop an alternative fuel which will be economical and renavable. biofuel is the answer for the problem. Biodiesel from algae is more economical then other source of biodiesel. lipid is the main component for the production of biodiesel. the study was been conducted on high lipid yielding algal strains with concern of future needs.
