Some of the important points to be emphasized follow: More holiness give me, More patience in suffering, More faith in my Savior, More joy in His service, More purpose in prayer. What splendid lessons may be taught in this first verse. Amplify on each point in your explanations and seek to establish a real idealism for our prayers.
