Kara spent the last several years traveling, fighting wildfires, moving from crew to crew and appreciating every moment, gorgeous view, and life saved. It's difficult constantly being the new girl and one of the only females every time she joins a new crew.


Changing direction, she takes a position that will keep her with the same crew doing something a little different than she's used to, fighting structure fires, building relationships with her new firehouse family, and struggling with her growing feelings for her new lieutenant.
