Manalur Maniyamma, a revolutionary woman, was the founder of the agrarian movement in the lower Tanjore region in the 1930s. His autobiography, which dates back to 1953, is based on the same plantation worker who writes 'footprints on the path', heard orally from the simple peasantry of the village. The novel is based on the lines and lines of the crop industry and the lives of the women involved in it. But it was written with a view to a completely different angle. As always, when contradictory facts pervade the thought, that intrigue itself creates the urge to explore it. That is the source of creation.
