Letters is issued under an other title, because it has been found that the former title, Let ters to sunday-school Teachers, gave a wrong impression of the aim of the book, as a possible book of Sunday-school methods. The let ters were originally written for T be Pilgrim Teoc/zor, to help Sunday school teachers to see for them selves, and to put to their pupils as clearly and simply as possible, the great truths of the Christian faith. But this aim in its essence is one that concerns all thoughtful Chris tians, and it has accordingly seemed.
