Living in the Unknown, Caribbean Way

Living in the Unknown, Caribbean Way is a fictional story about Esther who leaves the island of Saint Vincent in 1956 to build a better life after losing her husband to a horrific murder on the island. Her main aim was to further her nursing career to support her family.

Esther leaves her daughter (Margaret) behind to be bought up by her parents...

Meanwhile... Margaret her daughter was faced with many dramatical dilemmas since her mother left to travel abroad to England.
Esther thought she would only spend five years in England, then return to her homeland. Her plans don't go according to her plans. It took her eight years before deciding to send for her daughter Margaret to eventually come to meet her in England.

Esther and Margaret suddenly realised Living in the Unknown (England) was not the full picture they both dreamt about whilst growing up as children. Coming to live in their Motherland meant they were faced with a number of ordeals, such as racism, police brutality, and psychological and dramatic issues.
