Maito-yi Wa Sallase-yi

The original Fahamme Gospel by Paul N. Johnson (The Fahamme or Enlightened) published by the Fahamme Temples of Islam and Culture copyrighted in 1943. Fahamme Islam reveals to Afro-Americans knowledge about their great ancient Hamitic culture and civilization. High Sheik Ibn Hassn was the leader of the Fathiha School of Fahamme. He was blessed to have studied under the tutelage of Paul. J. Achamad (Paul N. Johnson), The Ra Rasool, The Culture Prophet, The Sheik of Sheiks Fahamme, and he acquired a great deal of knowledge from The Fahamme Rasool before he died. When High Sheik Ibn Hassn died in 2001, I inherited many documents that Paul N. Johnson wrote and left with the Sheiks, Imams, Priests and Priestesses. Some of these documents were the lyrics to songs and poems. As a vocal music teacher for many years, I felt compelled to add the music to these songs. Thus, the writing of "Maito-yi Wa Sallase-yi" (Songs & Poems). The book includes a brief synopsis of the history and other valuable information about each song.It is my hope that this music book will serve as a valuable resource for performances for choirs, soloist and musicians and give the Afro-American community a path to explore and learn more about their Ethiopian, Egyptian and African history, language and heritage.
