The construction industry contributes massively to the socioeconomic development of any nation. In Nigeria, this industry is characterized by under-performance associated with change orders such as cost and time overruns, and in some cases outright abandonment of projects. The book conscientiously reviewed causes, effect and management strategies of change order management in selected nations of the world with a view to develop and inexpensive process model to manage change orders in less developed countries like Nigeria. The study concluded that, there exists no clear scheme for managing change orders and this could be ameliorated using the change order management process proposed that takes care of change order very early in the project.The book went further to establish a construct between change management strategies and project outcomes. The application of the process was equally discussed.
