The following compilation of loving tributes to one of the truest of teachers, most consistent of ex emplars, and best of men, may be open to the impu tation of lacking in method or connectedness of ar rangement. If so, the apology is tendered that owing to the variety and miscellaneous nature of the material from which selections had to be culled, it could not well be otherwise. There will be no attempt at editorial effect or linguistic display.
