The increase over the value in 1920 was or 18 per cent. Although the total value increased, the average value per ton decreased rom in 1921 to in 1922. The decline was not due to a general lowering of prices of briquets, but to the fact that the low-priced product in Pennsylvania and Washington formed a larger art than usual of the total production.
