Mission Work Among the Azande (Classic Reprint)

Excerpt from Mission Work Among the Azande

The Lord Jesus Christ has said that the Gospel must first be preached in all the world before He comes. Therefore all who love His appearing must love the work of the foreign missionary. The Church of God is described as Catholic. This much misused word implies that it is to include within its pale members from the whole wide world. And no one can presume to call himself a member of Gods Church, and ignore the will of God in this matter. You cannot enter into partnership in a firm and begin by repudiating its liabilities. The liability which the Lord Jesus has left upon every Christian is to go into all the world and preach the gospel.

This little book tells how a few of God's dear children linked together in the fellowship of the Africa Inland Mission, are busy taking possession of one part of the great dark Continent for Christ. But if they go out on this errand for the sake of the Name, we who are still at home owe it to their Lord and ours to do all we can to help. During the war people who couldn't join the fighting services went to prepare munitions for those who could. And in this warfare of the Cross the same thing ought to be true.
