The book is about a young boy who spends the day riding his Shetland Pony on his Grandfather's farm. He encounters several beautifyl birds, including a Bald Eagle. He sees boats on the Apalachicola River, and even saves a baby calf. He has a wonderful day with his favorite horse, Moonlight!
