The book guides the reader to write consistently as a means of spiritual discipline in order to quiet the mind. The goal is to eventually arrive at the realization of the higher self, when the mind has quieted. From the beginning, nothing has been hidden. We simply have to remember. When one has returned to the true self, it is the realization of "I AM.
