MY LASTING MEMORIES

Henry Pujol was born in Havana and spent most of his childhood in the town of Sagua la Grande, Las Villas, Cuba where he completed his primary studies at the Jesuit school Sagrado Corazon de Jesus. He left Cuba with his family in 1960 to reside in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. After graduation from high school he moved to New York City where he completed his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering at The City College and later his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at Rutgers University. He spent his professional career at RCA, Martin Marietta and Motorola where he retired in 2003. He is the author of many technical papers in the high tech industry and was one of the pioneers in the CMOS technology.
He is presently retired and spends his time with his wife of 50 years, Katy Mata. They have two children and four grandchildren. They reside in Lake Worth, Fl .

This book tells the story of a young Cuban man, who at a young age, had to leave his country and his entire way of being to live in exile in another country. It is also the story of his will and struggles to live a life of dignity, realize his dream, raise a family and do it all within the Christian principles he learned from his parents and from his Jesuit school in Sagua la Grande, Cuba. This testimonial also recounts a part of Cuba's recent history and shows new generations what Cuba used to be and how the Cuban exile community worked miracles.
