Dr. Hari Joshi is a well known Indian writer. Till now he has published 18 books in Hindi, out of which, two collections of poems, four novels, and twelve collections are in satire and humour. For the last four decades he has been writing. He wrote for several leading news papers and magazines in Hindi. He has been victimized by politicians several times for writing humor and satire. In 1982 he was placed under suspension in job for writing a humorous article. The same year Government warned him to keep away from writing such "rubbish." In 1997 again a minister of housing board of the State Government served him a notice of defamation through court. But every time writers journalists, even the judiciary from all over the country came forward to support Dr. Joshi and stood by his side. Time and again curses turned into blessings in favour of writer. Every time action of Government against Dr. Joshi proved mockery and laughing stock.
