The book #MyDanubeStory is a collection of 16 unique stories about the currents of life along the Danube.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe (IDM), we wanted to know what the Danube means to you! As part of the challenge #MyDanubeStory, people shared with us their experiences, stories and thoughts.

The result is this little book with some of the best stories we have received. The authors take us back to eventful times long past, recount touching personal experiences, but also look at the challenges and opportunities of the future in our region.
