Beth is fifty-six years old. Her life has slowed to a complete standstill after losing her partner in an accident abroad. Grieving and resigned, she has totally isolated herself from the outside world. She narrates the story of how her life has become uneventful and lonely. After a lot of soul-searching, she decides to become part of the world again.
