This book presents current research in the study of basic human rights, with a particular focus on the crimes against human rights and the laws which protect human rights. Topics discussed include terrorism and Miranda rights, characteristics of women who withdraw from the protection order process and their reason for withdrawal, judicial activity concerning enemy combatant detainees, the law and military policy on same-sex behaviour and the Violence against Women Act.
