The legend of the Black Dog of Bungay is known throughout East Anglia, and indeed much of the country, and abroad. It has appeared in many books, written from many angles - except one, until now. This simple but dramatic, and moving, fantasy for children, but also of interest to adults, tells what happens when a group of children are suddenly confronted by the fiercesome, apparently savage, animal who so terrorised the congregation in the town's church more than 400 years ago - and discover his side of the story.
