This book is taken from the Summa Theologica on Saint Thomas Aquinas' treatises on Religion, on Devotion, Prayer and the Contemplative life presented in English. Passages from Saint Augustine and Cardinal Cajetan's Commentary on the Summa has been added as well. A comparison between the active life and the contemplative life is discussed, and the question about whether saints can pray for the living is answered.
