Gives an analysis of algebras of Colombeau-type generalized functions in the range between the diffeomorphism-invariant quotient algebra ${\mathcal G}^d = {\mathcal E}_M/{\mathcal N}$ introduced in part 1 and Colombeau's original algebra ${\mathcal G}^e$.
