1876. Swedenborg, a noted Swedish scientist, philosopher and theologian, is best known for his later writings in which he presents ideas both Christian and ecumenical for a new spiritual era or new church to be known as the New Jerusalem. Theophilus Parsons, a lawyer and a professor of law at Harvard, wrote many law manuals. He also was converted to Swedenborgianism and wrote several religious works including this volume.
