Jane Swift is a gritty starship captain aiming for opportunity and adventure. The crew of the Starstriker is in desperate need of work. The famous explorer is leading an expedition to find a lost planet and offers her a job to transport his team past the Fringe. Despite her reservations, Jane cannot resist the call to adventure.
