Set against the backdrop of nineteenth-century Bangor, when it was the lumber capital of the world, Pink Chimneys tells the stories of three women brought together by the infamous brothel called Pink Chimneys. In order to survive, they must form unlikely alliances and discover the strength to overcome the odds in a culture that tries--and fails--to limit their potential.
