The adoption of poverty as a mindset be it knowingly or unconsciously, produces disdain for ingenuity and hard work, or faith in one's ability to reach higher gains when those most affected by it cannot see themselves doing any better. Subliminally, through gifting of government subsidizes the mindsets of millions are conditioned to accept being an afterthought isn't as bad as some say when their bellies are full, taking a hot shower is commonplace, access to healthcare and housing are also part of their living threads of existence.
