Mental health is an important aspect of the health and well-being of individuals. This book focuses on a range of issues related to mental health, including mental illness as a public health concern, stigma, discrimination, suicide, the effects of mental illnesses on the family, stress levels and mental health of caregivers arising from their day-to-day responsibilities and challenges as carers, and perinatal mental health, it also includes discussions on the side effects of medication for treating mental illnesses.
