The Design of this work is to unlock the science of Zoology to the keen amateur. Louis Agassiz was one of the scientific greats of his day, known today as 'the father of the Ice Age', Agassiz in his own lifetime was prominent in Zoology, Glaciology, Paleontology, Embryology and Ecology.
