This book is a commentary on Psalm 50, A Psalm of Asaph, a Worship Leader in the Temple of Solomon. The Psalm is a call to Worship in spirit and truth. The Lord Almighty appears in a majestic manifestation and encounters creation in its lostness. He calls her to a right understanding of her relationship with her Creator. Any failure of understanding in the brief span of time allotted to her will only result in eternal regret. Therefore, the Divine Apperance, the Divine Call, and the Divine Warning are urgent.
