The avails of the interest in currency has been which has been paid to the Treasurer of Yale College, to be used in accordance with the provisions of the Act of Congress making the grant.From the reports of the Superintendent of Common Schools and the Board of Trustees of the State N ormal Schools, there is gratifying evidence that the cause of popular education is advancing, and that the school for training teachers is an important part of a complete and thorough system.The average attendance of scholars has been over seventy per cent. Of the enumeration.A larger amount of money has been raised by districts for school purposes than ever before.
