Faraday Constant There have been no new results for the Faraday constant since the 1986 adjustment and to the best of our knowledge, no experiments are underway. Data item 4 is the nbs (now nist) result included in the 1986 adjust ment reexpressed in units of c90=a90 s. This was accomplished using the value nil/a for the drift rate of based on nist ohr measurements made over the period 1983 - 1988 and the fact that (1 January (the electrochemical measurements in the nist Faraday experiment were carried out in This drift rate agrees well with the value nil/a re ported by Shields et a1. [43] based on nist calcula ble capacitor ohm realizations in and 1988. The consistency of the nist value of F with the other data will be discussed in section 3.
