Sam was a lonely older black mutt who lingered in a shelter waiting to be adopted for over a year. One sunny day a family came to the shelter and asked to meet him. Sam showed them some tricks he knew and the shelter volunteer and worker assured them he was a very good boy. The family adopted him that same day and took him straight home. He was very excited and happy to have a Forever Family and a Forever Home. Soon they realized that Sam needed to go shopping. A five year old dog needs a bed and bowls and food and treats and toys, too! Sam's first adventure with his family is going to the pet store to shop for the stuff he needs.
