Excerpt from Sixth Annual Report of the New York Christian Home for Intemperate Men: From November 1, 1882 to January 1, 1884
We seek to impress upon the intemperate that drunkenness is a sin toward God - to be repented of and forsaken, and that, unless regenerated by the Spirit of God, healing cannot be effected.
We lead him to the Great Physician, who, we believe, is alone able to save from all sin and heal the soul.
