Smokie was a real cat and his story is based around his true life.
I hope this book can bring young and old alike an understanding of one of life's greatest pleasures...the company of a cat. For all those past or present owners, I don't have to sell you on the appreciation of cats. For those that have never owned a cat, just read and enjoy.
