Automotive industry is one of the largest most influential, and labor intensive industry in the world, which plays an important role in the economy of a country (Chung et al., 2001), with work structures within the industry stemming from the division of labor in the 20th century (Freiboth et al., 1997). It is also one of the largest industries in India as in many other countries. As of 2010, India is home to a vibrant automobile of more than 40 million vehicles. More than 3.7 million automotive vehicles were produced in India in 2010 (an increase of 33.9%), making our country the second (after China) among the fastest growing automobile market in the world (Gulati, 2010). Thus, it plays a major role in the growth of economy in India. The industry accounts for 22 per cent of the country's manufacturing gross domestic product (GDP). It comprises passenger cars, two-wheelers, three-wheelers and commercial vehicles and is currently the seventh-largest producer of automobiles in the world.
