Excerpt from Substance of the Debates on a Resolution for Abolishing the Slave Trade: Which Was Moved in the House of Commons on the 10th June, 1806, and in the House of Lords on the 24th June, 1806

This motion gave rife to the debates which are reported in the following pages, and which i¿'ued in its adoption by both Houfes. In the Hoofe of Commons it was car ried by I 14. To 15, and in the Hoofe of Lords by 41 to 20.
