Emmy Parish arrives at the university to finish the last two years of college with her best friend, where she meets the handsome and charismatic pre-med student, Johnny Bauer. Johnny and Emmy fall hard and fast for one another, getting engaged and making plans for their future until Johnny's plane goes missing during his first year of medical school.
