Safety and A Healthy Environment* summarizes ways that students can practice safe habits at home, school, and out of doors. Each lesson focuses on describing risk followed by safe habits. The chapter also includes information on how to respond to simple emergencies, and to understand the Hands-Free CPR process. In Green Schools and Environmental Health, students learn how pollution affects health, as well as what they can do to reduce the impact of pollution in their school and community. *Each module contains the same front matter section, titled Your Health and Wellness. This content is relevant to the entire program. It teaches the 10 Health Skills that are the foundation of the Teen Health program.
