The reporter recognizes these artifacts as likely the last two that were made by Constantine the Great and given to Pope Sylvester I in 325 A.D. She contacts Dr. Randy Peters, Director of the University of Kentucky's Center for Appalachian Research, to authenticate them. Then, at the invitation of Kentucky's governor, the two anchor crosses become the focus of a new annual festival held in Harlan, Kentucky.
