Let those to whom this view may appear rash, consult any anglo-saxon version of a Latin author, or even a metrical paraphrase of a prose writer inhis own tongue d, and, on seeing its numerous. Misconceptions of the original, he will, unless I greatly err, considerably qualify, if not change, his Opinion.
