Movie posters--those colorful and glorious harbingers of pleasures "Coming Soon" to the local Strand, Roxy and Bijou---have become a people's art form to be enjoyed on their own merits, and to be admired and valued for their aesthetic and historical significance. These colorfully-inviting posterss exploited the themes as much as the art and popular culture of the times.
